International Links

Garton School achieved re-accreditation of the International award in July 2019. We have always supported international links and work hard to teach pupils about different cultures and how other people in different parts of the world live. We have a link with Adako Primary School in Kenya and over the past year have exchanged projects with them.

Pupils in Foundation Stage enjoyed learning about Chinese Culture during Chinese New Year. Children learnt about Chinese food, clothing and celebrations, and they even learnt how to say some words in Chinese!

Pupils in Year 3 enjoyed making a film about our school and local community. Children will be sending their videos and photographs to our partner school to enable a comparison.
